LET’S GO GREEN

We’re an amazing team working to improve our environment!

Welcome to Greenway | Humanity for Nature

The Greenway International Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that promotes environmental diversity and raises awareness of the impact of climate calamity on mental health. Raising awareness is critical for reversing the mental health crisis brought on by climate change. When more people are aware of and vocal about the issues, there is more pressure to fix them. Despite being one of the world’s most serious health risks, the effects of the climate crisis on mental health are understudied and undervalued. Climate change has the potential to have a profound impact on mental health, both directly and indirectly. Stress and anxiety produced by extreme weather occurrences such as floods, wildfires, storms, and heat waves are examples of direct consequences. Indirect consequences include loss of livelihood, displacement, and social disturbance.

Greenway International Foundation Inc. is a 501(c)(3) environmental organization operating in the United States of America, specially accredited by the United Nations Ocean and the United Nations Environment Assembly, UNEA.

Why Greenway?

Climate change is a major public health crisis that is having a significant impact on mental health. People who are exposed to climate change-related stressors, such as extreme weather events, displacement, and food insecurity, are more likely to experience mental health problems, such as anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

Our purpose is to raise awareness about the impact of climate crisis on mental health and providing assistance to people who are struggling with climate-related mental health problems.

AIM

Our aim is to encourage everyone to take action towards a more sustainable future by working together and taking steps towards change. Together we can create a healthier and more resilient world for ourselves and future generations.

OBJECTIVE

Our objectives are to help people understand the connection between climate change and mental health and to provide support and resources to those facing mental health challenges related to climate change.

GOAL

Climate Education. Mental Health Climate Change Awareness Campaign. Community Resilience Programs. Road to Self-Care. Tree Planting Exercise.
